Come experience the first installation of HD•BPM, Ryan Edwards' N+T Public Art Accelerator project! Join the participatory experience on Thursday, August 30th, from 8:00 - 11:00 PM, followed by Labor Day fireworks.
HD•BPM is an interactive musical installation where every note paints a pixel. Large-scale video projectors beam the work of local artists onto Building 32 at the shipyard in East Boston. HD•BPM uses electronic drum pads as triggers, played by the public to reveal, pixel by pixel, existing paintings by local artists. Featured artists include: Jordan Piantedosi, The Safarani Sisters, Cedric “Vise-1” Douglas, Silvia Lopez Chavez, Aram Boghosian, Cyrille Conan and Ekua Holmes.
Dates: 8/30 - 8/31 from 8-11pm
Free, all ages and open to the public.
Address: 256 Marginal St. East Boston, MA 02128
Presented by: HarborArts Shipyard Gallery with Downeast Cider, Boston Harbor Now, Boston Harbor Shipyard & Marina, Now + There, ZUMIX, East Boston Main Streets

About the presenter: Since 2009, HarborArts has been creating a stage for dialogue through public art. Transforming the 14-acre Boston Harbor Shipyard & Marina into an outdoor gallery representing local and international artists, HarborArts has brought thousands of visitors through the shipyard to explore the intersection of industry, community, and artistic expression. We are open to the public free of charge, year-round. We are proud to continue this permanent outdoor gallery in the shipyard. (HarborArtsBoston.com)
