This August and September, Now + There is pleased to partner with Berklee College of Music to bring live music to the Open House ballroom!

Join us from 5:30 to 7:30 PM on Tuesday, August 28th, at Open House for an evening of live music and public art as a part of Berklee's "Summer in the City" concert programThe installation is located on the Commonwealth Avenue Mall near Kenmore Square; the closest street address is 499 Commonwealth Avenue. The event is easily accessible via MBTA at Kenmore Square station.


Born in 1994, Havana, Sheila del Bosque is one of the most in-demand young flutist in Cuba. Performer of recorder, baroque and modern transverse flute, with a background of Ancient, Classical and Cuban popular music, she has played with orchestras such as Ars Longa, Orchestra of Lyceum Mozartian from Havana adjunct to Stiftung Mozarteum Salzburg and the National Orchestra of Cuba. Sheila has toured the world with various ensembles like the dance company Habana Compas Dance and the Cuban European Youth Orchestra, playing for important personalities like Usher, Bon Jovi, and The Rolling Stones. The proposal of Sheila del Bosque's Trio is the result of the mix of all these worlds, a selection of contemporary and traditional Afro-Cuban music with the influence of European and Jazz ingredients.
