This August and September, Now + There is pleased to partner with Berklee College of Music to bring live music to the Open House ballroom!
Join us from 5:30 to 7:30 PM on Tuesday, September 4th, at Open House for an evening of live music and public art as a part of Berklee's "Summer in the City" concert program. The installation is located on the Commonwealth Avenue Mall near Kenmore Square; the closest street address is 499 Commonwealth Avenue. The event is easily accessible via MBTA at Kenmore Square station.
Daniel Szczepanski is a trumpet player born in Warsaw, Poland. Coming from a very musical family, he started his musical development on the piano and then transitioned to trumpet. He graduated from the Karol Szymanowski State Music School Complex No. 4 and the Henryk Majewski Post-Secondary Jazz program in Warsaw. He's a laureate of many competitions and has performed with legendary musicians in his country.
Open House is a public art installation installation created by Los Angeles-based, Boston-born artist Liz Glynn, produced for Boston by Now + There. Visit our Open House page to learn more about this stunning installation.
