Get to know Alex L, Susan, Tyreke and Stephen
Introducing (4) more of our engaging, delightful Guides for Janet Zweig’s “What Do We Have in Common?” now on view in Boston Common. Every day, these Guides are available until 7 PM to discuss such questions as “Who owns the libraries?, Who owns these squirrels?, and Who owns the air?” In preparing for this installation, we asked Alex L, Susan, Tyreke and Stephen what they were most looking forward to as Guides for this project. Their responses are below!
“I'm most excited for this project to be able to find commonality with strangers and fellow Bostonians and to learn and experience the different ways we all share resources!”
- Alex L.
What excites me most about this project is the potential to bring a community together and learn about each other in a safe, open, familiar space. On top of the physical art the psychological art aspect excites me the most. - Tyreke
“The interactive nature of the project is very exciting. Also, I am delighted that as Laura Baring-Gould, sculptor of the Pear in Dorchester said, about her installation, "it provides a visual form that would be a radical departure from Boston’s white men on horses.” - Susan
I’m most excited to find out unexpected things that I have in common with random strangers and to hear who everyone thinks owns the moon. - Stephen
