Big things (as well as 200 small things) are coming to Boston Common on September 22, when Janet Zweig’s interactive artwork, “What Do We Have in Common?” opens near the Parkman Bandstand. Commissioned by the Friends of the Public Garden, we’re thrilled to share Zweig’s thought-provoking installation highlighting the concept of “commons” and asking poignant questions like “Who owns Boston Harbor,” and “Who owns the future?”
A pivotal part of this unique installation is a stellar group of multilingual, Boston-based Guides who will activate this sculpture every day through October 22. They are ready to ask questions, together with you, on the Common all month long.Come out to talk about who owns the Internet, the Green Line, the park itself, and much more!
Meet the amazing cohort of Guides!
