N+T Asks: Is arts activism enough?

Join us Friday, May 8 at 12:30 pm our next “N+T Asks” conversation. This week Executive Director Kate Gilbert asks you and our guests, Nia Evans, Director of Boston Ujima Project and Steve Lambert, artist and Director + Co-Founder of the Center of Artistic Activism, "Is arts activism enough?" Together we’ll think through how art and artists intersect with grassroots activism, consider the significance of both individual advocacy and collective action, and imagine ways to employ art as a change-making tool during times of physical distance and after. We’ll start with a 30-minute conversation with our guests and then open up the conversation to all participants to share your questions, ideas, and perspectives. Joining the conversation is free and open to all.
