Update: A note on the N+T Forum

Dear friend,

With the health of our beloved Boston art community in mind and in response to COVID-19, we are postponing the Now + There Forum: Public Art Accelerator until the fall.

The Forum intends to be a platform for collective learning and resource-sharing. In that spirit, here are resources for artists and other gig-dependent creatives who are losing income due to cancelations, resources for the artist organization field, and information on an artist relief fund created by the City of Boston. And to help give the over 150 attendees who have registered so far for the Forum (eek, we were so excited to see you all!) a taste of what’s to come in September, we’re launching something new: Ask N+T. But more about that in our monthly e-newsletter.

For now, we encourage all to follow precautions — have you made your favorite song into a handwashing infographic yet? — and to care for your physical as well as mental well-being.

Connecting with one another is at the heart of our mission, so we encourage you to reach out and check on loved ones, friends, and those who might be isolated as a result of the virus. And if you get a little stir crazy, a public art walk using our mobile-friendly tour might just be the best antidote.

Wishing you peace and health,

“It is a huge danger to pretend that awful things do not happen. But you need enough hope to keep going. I am trying to make hope. Flowers grow out of darkness.”
